Life as we know it looks quite different than the life we knew just a few short weeks ago. While there are still many uncertainties around us, it has been humbling to see our community join together. As you all know, this pandemic targets people over the age of 60 and/or those suffering from underlying conditions. Many grocery stores are starting to roll out new shopping hours to help shelter those most at risk. Below you will find a list.
Alwans & Sons
703 E War Memorial Dr, Peoria
Alwans & Sons are opening the store to senior citizens (65+) from 8:00 am to 9:00 am.

2407 W Rohmann Ave, West Peoria
Haadad's will re-open March 26th, with exclusive shopping hours for senior citizens 8:00AM - 10:00 AM Monday- Saturday. Closed Sundays.

Lindy's will offer special hours on Saturdays from 7:00AM to 9:00AM for seniors.

Every Tuesday is now Seniors Day with all-day discounts and seniors-only shopping from 8:00AM to 9:00AM.
Kroger
Multiple Locations Throughout the Tri-County Area
Kroger's special shopping hours from Monday-Thursday where senior shoppers can shop from 7:00 AM -8:00AM.
Hy-Vee
Multiple Locations Throughout the Tri-County Area
Hy-Vee's special shopping hours include anyone aged 60+, pregnant women and customers with compromised immune systems from 7:00 AM -8:00AM daily.
Schnucks
Multiple Locations Throughout the Tri-County Area
Schnucks is reserving the first hour of each day – from 6:00AM to 7:00AM – for shopping by seniors aged 60 and above, and for those who are most at risk of COVID-19.
Target
5001 N Big Hollow Rd, Peoria, IL AND 480 W Washington St, East Peoria
Every Wednesday from 8:00AM- 9:00AM, all vulnerable guests, including over 65, pregnant, or those defined by CDC as vulnerable or at risk are able to shop.
Wal-Mart
Multiple Locations Throughout the Tri-County Area
Wal-Mart has launched a one-hour senior shopping event that will be held every Tuesday beginning at 6 a.m. through April 28 2020 for customers 60 and older.
Costco
301 W Washington St, East Peoria
Costco is offering special shopping on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 8AM to 9AM for members who are 60 and older. The pharmacy will also be open during this hour. Note: the food court will maintain its normal operating schedule.

Dollar General
Multiple Locations Throughout the Tri-County Area
Dollar General is offering the first hour, 8:00AM- 9:00AM for seniors. DG was one of the first franchises to put this special shopping hours into place!

Aldi's is offering a special hour on Tuesdays and Thursdays for senior citizens, pregnant women, customers with compromised immune systems, 1 hour before opening. Check local open times.
Big Lots

Big Lots has reserved the first hour of shopping for seniors and those most vulnerable to COVID-19 virus. Local store hours starting at 9:00AM.
